Ideal Science and Technology Aiming Research Council (ISTARC) was founded in 2001 at Ideal School and College with the motto “Science in Creation, not Annihilation.”
Throughout the years
ISTARC, one of the most promising, versatile and distinguished co-curricular activity clubs of Ideal School and College, has a long tradition of encouraging students to discover their latent zeal for science. A senior teacher of Ideal School and College, Md. Motahar Hossain, unveiled the official flag of ISTARC.
For more than two decades, ISTARC has organized numerous science fairs where students demonstrate projects, test ideas and build confidence. These activities encourage students to know the unknown, touch the untouched and see the unseen.
Members of ISTARC regularly participate in science fairs organized by institutions across the country, earning recognition through their performance. The organization continues to promote critical thinking, scientific awareness, research and innovation for future generations.
14th ISTARC Science & Technology Festival 2026
The festival will be held from Thursday, 10 September 2026, to Saturday, 12 September 2026 at Ideal School & College, Peerjongi Majar Road, Motijheel, Dhaka-1000.
The program anticipates participation from students across the country, officials of Ideal School & College, ISTARC members and invited guests including principals, headmasters, science club moderators, government officials and renowned personalities.
